6th, Nov: Ling Wan, Ling Zhan Yao Zu Town, Hao Kun Village
It’s at east-northern of the town, 15 km from the town. 90% area is rock. 234 persons, 52 families. Everyone own 0.6 acreage field for farming. Annual earnings 308 dollars per person. 107 kg food per person. There are always floods and drought because of the thin earth and the farming environment is bad. Only two months each year is possible for farming, especially for 33 families in that village.
The government built electricity stations and roads to that villiage, however, the economy started late and the base is weak. Most of their people are still living in thatched cottages and lives are very hard.
They are building this migration village for these 33 most affected families. 33 houses each in 60 square meters, with cooking and lighting power support, toilet and pig store.
Whenever the village is flooded, they have to flee by boats. That’s why their houses are quite empty, and their cottages are fixed by only ropes tied to rocks.
